Washington Minimum Wage Expected to Rise to $16.66 for 2025

The hourly minimum wage in Washington is expected to increase to $16.66 from $16.28, according to Bloomberg Tax calculations.

The calculations are based on Washington statutes and federal data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Washington exempts executive, administrative, and professional employees from state overtime requirements if they earn at least a certain minimum salary. For 2025, the minimum salary will be two times the minimum wage for a 40-hour workweek for employers with 50 or fewer employees, or 2.25 times the minimum wage for a 40-hour workweek for employers with more than 50 employees, under state regulations. ...
