Washington’s hourly minimum wage will rise to $15.74 from $14.49 effective Jan. 1, 2023, the state labor and industries department announced Sept. 30.
The announcement confirms Bloomberg Tax’s Sept. 13 calculations.
The hourly minimum wage for employees ages 14 and 15 will rise to $13.38.
Overtime Exemption
The minimum salary threshold for white-collar workers to be exempt from overtime will also rise in 2023.
