Western Australia Amends Construction Long Service Leave Program

Several amendments to Western Australia’s long service leave program for construction workers were included in an act that received assent Aug. 28, the Australian state’s government said. Specifically, the act expands the definition of a day of service and allows workers to be retroactively credited for work that counts as days of service under the changes.
