States Ask to Fast-Track Suit Over Trump’s 10% Global Tariff

Two dozen US states asked a judge to expedite their lawsuit challenging the 10% global tariff President Donald Trump imposed last month after the Supreme Court ruled many of his earlier levies unconstitutional.

The new tariffs are also illegal and must be vacated quickly to avoid “irreparable harm,” Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield, who is co-leading the suit, said in a filing Wednesday in the Court of International Trade in Manhattan.
