Sara Langan has joined Akerman as a partner in the real estate practice group, the firm said Tuesday.
Langan concentrates her practice on tax equity financed transactions, particularly obtaining tax benefits from federal and state low-income housing, historic rehabilitation, and renewable energy tax credits, according to Akerman.
She also has experience with the taxation of partnerships, non-profit organizations, LLCs, and corporations, said the firm.
