Tim Becker and Wells Miller have joined Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP as partners in the tax practice in Boston, Mass., the firm said Tuesday.
The pair will advise funds clients on a variety of issues. They join from Choate Hall & Stewart LLP, according to the firm.
Becker has a history of providing structuring, legal, and business advice to clients in the investment funds industry, the firm said.
Miller has experience working with private equity firms, companies, and executives to implement compensation and benefit plans, according to Akin Gump.
