Akin Gump has promoted New York tax attorneys Aaron Farovitch and Richard Swanson to its partnership, the firm announced Monday.
Farovitch advises public and private companies on executive compensation and employee benefits matters in complex transactions. He also advises clients on equity and equity-based incentive compensation arrangements, nonqualified deferred compensation plans, severance, change in control, and executive employment agreements.
Swanson advises clients on hedge and private equity funds and multinational entities on tax matters, including fund formation, mergers and acquisitions, financial products, cross-border lending, and real estate transactions.
