Ashurst Brings on Nathan Deveson as Senior Tax Partner in Sydney

Nathan Deveson joined Ashurst as a senior partner in its tax practice in Sydney, the firm announced Tuesday.

Deveson is one of Australia’s foremost experts in state taxes, with expertise in stamp duty, land tax, surcharge stamp duty and land tax and other state-based taxes. He provides commercial and financial structuring advice across a broad range of sectors, including mergers and acqusitions, financial services, mining, and resources, the firm said.
