Lane Morgan has joined Baker McKenzie’s tax practice as a partner in the Dallas office, the law firm said Monday.
Morgan focuses on the tax aspects of domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings, Baker McKenzie said.
He worked as a transactional tax attorney as a member of KPMG’s tax compliance and M&A groups and as in-house tax counsel at Albemarle Corporation, according to Baker McKenzie.
Morgan also spent time in Beijing seconded to the sovereign wealth fund China Investment Corporation, according to the firm.
