BakerHostetler Adds Tax Attorney Stefan Smith as Dallas Partner

Stefan Smith has joined Baker & Hostetler LLP’s tax practice group and employee benefits and executive compensation team as a partner in Dallas, the firm announced Wednesday.

Smith helps clients navigate retirement plans and other employee benefits and executive compensation matters, according to the firm.

“His experience and knowledge, particularly in navigating the benefits and compensation aspects of M&A deals, will be helpful to clients not only with respect to evaluating risks but also with integration and post-transaction structures,” Tax Practice Group Chair Jeff Paravano said.
