Bera Examining How Artificial Intelligence Impacts Health Care

Rep. Ami Bera wants expert input on how AI is reshaping the health care industry.

Bera (D-Calif.), a member of the House’s bipartisan task force on AI, sent a request for information yesterday to think tanks, academics, industry officials, and other experts about AI in health care, an intersection where the technology is promised to deliver major advancements.

“As our nation continues to evolve technologically, understanding the impact of AI on health care is crucial for informed decision-making and policy development,” Bera, a physician and co-founder of the Health Care Innovation Caucus, wrote in his request.
