A federal D.C. judge declined to issue an emergency temporary restraining order against billionaire Elon Musk and his cuts to federal spending, saying that blue state plaintiffs hadn’t demonstrated sufficient imminent harm to justify the “extraordinary” measure.
Fourteen Democratic attorneys general, led by New Mexico, sued the Trump administration Feb. 13, arguing that Musk’s role violates the US Constitution’s Appointments Clause.
