Peter Farrell has joined Brown Rudnick as a partner in the tax group in Washington, D.C., the firm said Wednesday.
Farrell, who joins from Baker Botts, focuses his practice on corporate tax, income tax planning, international tax, spin-offs, and mergers and acquisitions, according to Brown Rudnick.
He advises clients on tax matters related to internal planning, capital markets, debt financings, and renewable energy projects, said the firm.
