Digital Sales Back in Focus as State Sales Tax Group Convenes

The Streamlined Sales Tax Governing Board is expected to vote on the latest proposal in a long-running project over how online vendors collect and remit taxes on digital goods when buyers don’t provide complete addresses, as well as one on when remote sellers should register with a state for tax compliance.
