Dinsmore Adds Pilar Puerto as Partner in Tax Practice in DC

Pilar Puerto joined Dinsmore & Shohl as a partner in its tax, benefits, and wealth practice, the firm announced Tuesday.

Puerto’s practice focuses on closing agreements, pre-filing agreements, and other agreements used to resolve complex tax matters involving multinational corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals. She was involved in the development of multiple IRS settlement initiatives providing taxpayers with the ability to voluntarily settle disputes with the IRS, the firm said.

She joins from the IRS Office of Chief Counsel.
