John Gilluly has been appointed the vice chair of the transactional practice at DLA Piper, where he will oversee the corporate, finance, private equity, real estate, and tax practices from the Austin office, the firm said Monday.
Gilluly is the former managing partner of the Americas as well as former global co-chair and US chair of the corporate practice, according to DLA Piper.
Along with Gilluly, DLA Piper made several new leadership appointments across the firm, including Alison Maxwell, who will become the new leader of US Tax, according to a Monday news release.
