Dorsey & Whitney Recruits Kiran Uppal to Tax Group in Seattle

Kiran Uppal has joined Dorsey & Whitney as of counsel with the tax, trusts, and estates group in Seattle, the firm said Monday.

Uppal advises on the preparation of wills, trusts, and premarital agreements, modifying trusts through decantings and nonjudicial settlement agreements, and analyzing estate, gift, and generation skipping transfer tax planning strategies as well as charitable planning and probate proceedings and estate administration, according to Dorsey.

She works with wealthy individuals and families, family business owners, banks and trust companies, trustees, and executors and private foundations, Dorsey said.
