Ease CPA Shortage With Flexible Work-Study Pilot, Industry Says

The largest US professional accounting organization and CPA exam board have launched a work-study pilot with Tulane University aimed at making a career in accounting more attractive and financially viable.

The program announced Monday by the American Institute of CPAs and National Association of State Boards of Accountancy is aimed at giving students a less costly and more flexible way to complete the 150-hour course credit requirement to become a licensed CPA.
