DENVER—The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission sued JBS Swift Aug. 31 in two federal district courts, accusing the meatpacker of religious bias for harassing and refusing to accommodate the prayer needs of its Somali and Muslim employees at facilities in Colorado and Nebraska (EEOC v. JBS USA, (EEOC v. JBS USA

EEOC filed lawsuits in the U.S. District Court for the Districts of Colorado and Nebraska alleging Swift created a hostile work environment for its Somali and Muslim employees due to their race, national origin, and religion.
