David Makso has joined Foley & Lardner as a partner in its taxation practice group in New York, the firm said Monday.
Makso, who joins from Paul Hastings, represents the tax interests of domestic and international clients in fund formations, cross-border transactions, capital markets transactions, and leveraged finance transactions, according to Foley & Lardner.
He has experience with the tax structuring of private equity, real estate, and direct lending funds on the sponsor and investor side, said the firm.
