Kristina Popova has joined Grant Thornton as a partner on the specialist tax team and will lead the national stamp duty and land tax practice in the Melbourne office, the firm announced Monday.
Popova specializes in state tax advisement, revenue investigations, and private rulings and exemptions, the firm said.
She previously has advised and acted on indirect tax disputes in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the Federal Court of Australia, according to the firm.
