Christopher Rizek has joined Holland & Knight as a partner in the the tax, executive compensation, and benefits practice in Washington, D.C., the firm said Thursday.
Rizek, who was previously a member at Caplin & Drysdale, represents clients in federal civil and criminal tax controversy matters, according to Holland & Knight.
He has experience representing taxpayers, financial entities, and firms in IRS examinations of tax shelters and related compliance and professional ethics issues, said the firm.
Rizek will also be a member of the firm’s nationwide tax controversy team.
