Darrell Smelcer has rejoined Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP as special counsel in Atlanta, the firm said Thursday.
Smelcer began his career as an associate at Hunton in 1982 and was a partner with the firm for 19 years. Recently, he served as a tax law specialist with the IRS, said the firm.
The public finance attorney has experience advising on legal matters related to tax exempt bonds with both the government and private practice, said Hunton Andrews.
