Hunton Promotes Jake Johnson, Tyler Richardson to Counsel

Hunton Andrews Kurth promoted Jake Johnson and Tyler Richardson to counsel, the firm announced Monday.

Johnson advises clients on federal income taxation of domestic and cross-border business transactions and business entities, with an emphasis on secured lending and structured finance. He provides counsel on structuring and negotiating loan facilities and on tax issues in asset-backed securitizations, loan acquisitions, and other structured finance transactions, the firm said.

Richardson focuses his practice on executive compensation and employee benefit arrangements. He advises clients on compensation and benefits matters, along with related issues of tax, accounting, securities, and corporate governance, the firm said.
