The IRS plans to more regularly flag suspect tax schemes for taxpayers and their advisers, according to Lois Deitrich, who leads the agency’s Office of Promoter Investigations.
- The new recurring list of possible tax shelters and other possibly illegal maneuvers will be issued in addition to the agency’s annual “Dirty Dozen,” which identifies common scams.
