Chris Wootten has joined Jones Walker as a partner in the tax practice group in New Orleans, the firm said Friday.
Wootten works on obtaining federal, state, and local tax credits and incentives for lenders, developers, and investors, according to Jones Walker.
He provides advice on new markets tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, Opportunity Zone programs, low-income housing tax credits, property-assessed clean energy financing, qualified zone academy bonds, and community development block grants, Jones Walker said.
