David Foster has joined Kirkland & Ellis as a tax partner in Washington, D.C., the firm said Wednesday.
He focuses on tax litigation and administrative tax controversies, advising large corporations, private equity firms and hedge funds, partnerships, estates, and exempt organizations and individuals, according to Kirkland.
Foster, who was a partner at Skadden, clerked for Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, Kirkland said.
