James Morgan has joined Kirkland & Ellis as a partner, the firm said Friday.
Morgan focuses on the tax and structural issues involved in complex corporate transactions and financings, particularly the tax aspects of corporate reorganizations and debt restructuring transactions as well as credit-related transactions and credit funds, according to Kirkland & Ellis.
He provides advice to private equity sponsors and other alternative asset managers, Kirkland & Ellis said.
