Sam Kamyans has joined Kirkland & Ellis as a partner in the tax practice group in the Washington office, the firm said Tuesday.
His practice includes partnership tax structuring with an emphasis on energy transition projects and renewable energy infrastructure, according to Kirkland & Ellis.
Kamyans has represented energy sponsors, private equity firms and public companies on mergers and acquisitions, financings, divestitures, equity extractions, distressed restructurings, and public and private offerings, said the firm.
