Oct. 6, 2023, 2:00 PM UTC

Since the US Supreme Court’s decision limiting affirmative action admissions in higher education, there has been an increasing amount of pushback against diversity, equity, and inclusion programs—including lawsuits against firms over their policies.

Striking the right balance on DEI initiatives can be tricky. Learn tips on how to steer clear of potential conflicts by joining Bloomberg’s Tax and Law Insights & Commentary team on Oct. 26 from noon to 1 p.m. ET. “How to Navigate the New Challenges of DEI Programs” is part of our free virtual Lunch & Learn series.

We have two experts on DEI efforts who will explain the current landscape and help you create stronger teams and better outcomes through diversity efforts:

Sharon Jones is chief DEI officer at Haynes and Boone and partner in the firm’s labor and employment practice group. She previously served as a federal prosecutor, litigator, and counselor with Fortune 500 corporations and private law firms.

Nikia Gray is executive director of the National Association of Law Professionals. She previously was managing partner of Quarles & Brady’s Washington, D.C., office and was the firm’s director of recruiting.

You can join us for this free virtual event, no registration required, by signing on here at noon ET on Oct 26 or by calling +1-301-715-8592 and entering the meeting ID: 978 7687 8012.
