Dominic Bédard-Lapointe has joined McCarthy Tétrault as a partner in the national tax group in Montréal, the law firm announced Tuesday.
He focuses on large corporate group tax disputes and has worked for national law firms and the Canadian Department of Justice, the firm said in a statement.
He is co-chair of the young tax experts of the Canadian Tax Foundation in Montreal, according to McCarthy Tétrault.
“Dominic’s arrival strengthens and diversifies our capabilities in tax law,” said Brett Anderson, partner in and the co-head of McCarthy’s national tax group.
