Shawn O’Brien has joined McDermott Will & Emery as a partner in the tax practice group in Houston, Texas, the firm said Wednesday.
O’Brien represents clients during tax examinations, administrative appeals, and litigation, according to McDermott.
He has developed a federal and state excise tax practice that advises large corporations on excise tax planning and controversies, said the firm.
