Mintz & Gold is launching a new tax practice that will be led by partners Howard Topaz and Philip Altman, the firm said Tuesday.
The tax practice will address client tax needs such as day-to-day operations and compliance, tax aspects of corporate deals, counsel to high-net-worth individuals and families, and defense of audits and controversies, according to Mintz & Gold.
Topaz and Altman were most recently partners at Hogan Lovells in New York. Topaz works on tax planning and compliance matters for high-net-worth families, companies, and private foundations, and Altman provides tax advice on mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, and joint ...
