OECD Releases Updated Global Minimum Tax Return Instructions (1)

The OECD on Wednesday released an updated version of its global minimum tax return instructions following a consultation on the new information reporting system.

The technical instructions provide guidance on how companies fill out their GloBE Information Return, or GIR. The GIR is a standardized form companies return with their data to comply with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s 15% global minimum tax rules.

The OECD asked for public feedback on the GIR and its draft instructions in July. The consultation ended in August.
