Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek signed a bill Tuesday creating a new research and development tax credit aimed at semiconductor manufacturers.
The Democratic governor’s action on the bill (H.B. 2009) makes the credit available for 2024-2029. A previous state-level R&D credit expired in 2017.
