Public CbC Reporting Coming for Companies with EU Presence

Multinational enterprises with a presence in the EU may soon be subject to public disclosure requirements of their Country-by-Country reports.

EU members must implement the public disclosure requirements for CbC reporting, which means the first financial year of reporting for the affected MNEs will start no later than June 22, 2024.

However, the public disclosure requirements could apply even earlier since EU member states may apply the rules required under EU Directive 2021/2101 before the deadline.
