Sonita M. Bennitt has joined Seward & Kissel as a partner with the tax group in New York, the firm said Tuesday.
Bennitt has provided advice on tax issues in connection with the formation and operation of private investment funds, including private equity, real estate, and private credit funds, according to Seward & Kissel.
She also has experience with the tax aspects of real estate joint ventures and real estate investment trusts, Seward & Kissel said.
She previously served as counsel with Goodwin Procter.
