Sidley Taps Greg Featherman as Tax Partner in New York Office

Greg Featherman joined Sidley as a partner in its tax practice in New York, the firm announced Wednesday.

Featherman advises clients on the US tax aspects of complex domestic and cross-border transactions. His practice focuses on transactional tax planning across corporate and financial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, internal restructurings, financings, joint ventures, and strategic business formations. He represents public and private companies, private equity sponsors, sovereign wealth funds, foreign pension funds, and financial institutions.

He joins from Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
