Rhys Pippard has joined Simmons Gainsford as a partner, the firm said Thursday.
Pippard specializes in VAT, particularly resolving contentious matters with His Majesty’s Revenue & Customs, the UK’s tax, payments and customs authority. He advises on the VAT implications of land and property transactions, and supports multi-national corporations on cross-border transactions and international trade, according to Simmons Gainsford.
He also formerly served as a HMRC tax inspector, Simmons Gainsford said.
