Tax Lawyer Love Returns to Carlsmith Ball in Honolulu Office

Lucas Love has joined Carlsmith Ball as of counsel in its Honolulu office, the firm said Wednesday. He was previously with the firm from 2015 to 2021.

Love practices primarily in the area of tax law. In a previous stint at the Palo Alto, Calif., office of Baker McKenzie, he advised Silicon Valley companies on a variety of international tax planning and federal tax controversy matters

Prior to law school, Love was a staff auditor at one of the nation’s largest and most prestigious accounting firms.
