Alex Barnes has joined Trowers & Hamlins as a partner with the tax practice in London, the firm said Friday.
Barnes, who served as head of tax at BDB Pitmans, provides advice on corporate tax matters and real estate tax matters, according to Trowers & Hamlins.
He has advised SME clients on corporate transactions. He has also advised on transactions and related structures including commercial property developments, investment portfolio acquisitions and disposals by UK and non-UK investors, tax issues for occupiers, and regeneration projects and joint ventures, Trowers & Hamlins said.
