US Accounting Standard-Setter Seeks Help Setting Priorities (1)

The US accounting standard-setter is seeking public input on what hot-button financial reporting projects it should tackle in the years ahead.

The Financial Accounting Standards Board asked financial statement preparers, investors, practitioners, and academics in a Friday invitation to comment whether it should address a slate of issues from crypto assets to financial instruments to accounting for retirement and other employee benefits.

Feedback is due by June 30. The board will then decide which projects, if any, it should add to its agenda.
