Venable Promotes Carruth, Moran to Counsel in Baltimore Office

Venable LLP has promoted Matthew Carruth and Christopher Moran to counsel in Baltimore, Md., the firm said Thursday.

Carruth advises on federal and state income tax planning, structuring, and compliance matters. He also practiced as an attorney-advisor at the Securities and Exchange Commission, Venable said.

Moran focuses on nonprofit law, tax planning and tax controversy. He also has experience with federal and state income tax planning and state and local tax compliance, according to Venable.
