Stephen Josey has joined Vinson & Elkins as counsel with the tax and executive compensation and benefits practices in New York, the firm said Tuesday.
Josey served as a trial attorney in the tax and civil divisions at the Department of Justice. He has experience litigating tax and tariff controversies and advising clients on tax risk management, tax refund procedures, and tax dispute resolution strategies, according to Vinson & Elkins.
He also served as counsel at Kostelanetz & Fink.
