LG Electronics will fight new tax adjustments from the Indian tax authorities and reported that a portion sought by auditors is already covered by an agreement with the government.
LG Electronics India Ltd. received a draft assessment with 5,728 million rupees ($61 million) in disallowances for its fiscal year 2022-23, the company said in a financial filing Monday.
Of that amount, the company said 2,168.9 million rupees involving a transfer pricing disallowance are covered under an advance pricing agreement and would be reduced to zero.
