EU Tax Subcommittee Critiques Code of Conduct Group Criteria

European representatives on Tuesday criticized a European Union group meant to monitor harmful tax practices over the criteria it uses, and how quickly they are being updated.

Members of the European Parliament’s tax subcommittee quizzed Maria Jose Garde, chair of the bloc’s Code of Conduct Group (Business Taxation), particularly on how the group decides a list of so-called non-cooperative jurisdictions.
