Ernst & Young LLP announced Thursday it is cutting 232 jobs across its Australia operations, becoming the latest major accounting firm to shed roles.
The Big Four outfit’s Oceania arm blamed the cuts on a “challenging and uncertain environment” that had hampered the demand for consulting across government and financial services, EY Oceania CEO David Larocca said in a statement Thursday.
