IRS Seeks Taxes From Doctor Who Said Vaccines Magnetize People

A Cleveland-area physician and conspiracy theorist who claimed that Covid-19 vaccines magnetize people owes nearly $700,000 in tax liabilities, the US told a federal court.

The US requested summary judgment against Sherri Tenpenny on May 2, alleging her case presented no dispute of material fact that she is liable unpaid income taxes for 2001, 2012, and 2013. Tenpenny previously failed to convince the US District Court for the Northern District of Ohio to dismiss the government’s case based on a discredited legal theory that federal income tax laws are unconstitutional.
