BDO Partners Elect Restructuring Boss as UK Firm’s New Leader

BDO‘s UK partners elected the accounting and business advisory firm’s restructuring boss as their new managing partner to replace Paul Eagland, who spent eight years at the helm.

Mark Shaw, the firm’s UK head of business restructuring, will take over in October, when Eagland reaches the end of his current term in office, BDO said Wednesday. BDO has grown rapidly under Eagland, overtaking Grant Thornton to become the UK’s fifth-biggest auditor by revenue after its 2019 merger with Moore Stephens LLP.
