EY Taps Former US Audit Board Member to Join Leadership Council

EY has tapped a former member of the US audit regulator to serve on its global governing council, the Big Four firm said Monday.

Duane DesParte’s term as an independent non-executive member of Ernst & Young’s Global Governance Council began on June 1. The role is meant to deliver outside perspectives to top partners, who represent affiliates around the world. The council provides policy and strategy advice to EY’s global management team.
